Inspiration from Drew Barrymores Cinderella dress for a friends 50th. A true labour of love. So many different laces hand stitched into place with pearl clusters sewn on bodice with faux gems in front.
And all made from measurements given over the phone while she lived interstate. I probably love this gown the most of anything I have ever made, even more than my sisters super super expensive wedding gown. more importantly she loved it too.

Fancy dress End of Season Breakup

The bronze gown was a beautiful fit for one of my friends worn with real jewels she looked like a princess..
My daughter wanted a fairy outfit to match her purple docs. Thus the angle cut multi-hued burnout chiffon skirt with jagged hem worn with a satin top with lots of hand sewn sparkles.
I was trying for a green nymph look but didn't have time to finish the underskirt. So I ended up looking  a bit 'Undine'ish. I don't think the green ballet flats helped at all and some dark stockings wouldn't have gone astray. But that's what happens when you are the organiser of an event. :)

PARTY DOG!

PIRATE WENCH in Velvet calf length skirt with brocade top over bought lace worn over boots of course. Pirate Hat seems to have been pirated!
